Did i mention anything abt my new shoes yet? Probably not. I just had to inform the blogging world that i love my new vibram five finger shoes. The thing is....its snowing lots and i keep forgetting to just take them in to work and just wear them inside to get used to wearing them. Cold weather and the shoes are ok...but when it comes to the elements and the shoes....snow and rain... Im not a fan when its freezing. Im sure ill be wearing them when we pull the boat out but until then im just going to ease myself into the way they fit.

I'll appreciate it all year long next year. Its quite possible I forgot something and/or someone.... I'll come back and edit when I realize it later. Oh Thanks holly and my aunts for sending birthday cards in the mail. It was a good week.

Saturday the 4th was my party, then on the 9th was my birthday, which was the day I gave a massage then got one of my own. Then the Madrigal dinner I went to that night was awesome. THEN on friday morning...I got up bright and early to go to Ryan's work christmas party with him. Oh Ryan and getting to everything early. I appreciate getting there early, don't get me wrong, but I think we got there unintentionally early. We brought a plate of cookies and then waited until I could check in. Apparently you aren't allowed to have your phone or a flash drive in that building. I was warned about the phone situation, but its a good thing I read the sign. I had to make a hike back to the truck to put my wallet away since I had a flash drive. You never know, I could've stolen some super secret confidential information. too bad I wouldn't know the first thing about being sneeky like that. Ryan showed me his desk, (felt like show and tell, it was cute) and then I met a couple coworkers. Then the first time slot was for games/movie. We watched the Disney version of The Christmas Carol. I must say it was major creepy. Good movie though. Then It was time to go get in line to get food. There were so many people there. Lines at like 7 -10 different stations. Oh yeah, before we went into the movie I ran into Bro. and Sis. Stankosky and Bro. & Sis Young and their son Jared. Sooo funny. I honestly didn't think I'd see anyone I knew. The line for food. yeahhh wayyyy long. But we just stood in line and chatted with some of Ryans work friends. Then up to his desk to eat. He had to do some work or something while we were there. Paperwork to catch up on or something. So I started to write a letter to kill some time. On a normal day I might have just text someone to kill time. Not happening that day. oh well. I survived, believe it or not. Then after that we were looking up funny things online. Don't know how much time we wasted in doing that. Then it was off to the talent show. Ryan wasn't a big fan of the church lady choir thing that was going on. Scroooooge i tell ya. oh well. He said I wasn't allowed to leave his sight, but I swear he had to pee wayy too many times that day/or maybe it was just filling up the water bottle. Thats about the only time I left his side. I think I was starting to feel like a leach. I made him go back to the talent show. It was interesting to say the least. What about a family christmas party on base screams BELLY DANCER...haha. probably my favorite act of the whole thing. While we were sitting there I also saw an old missionary that served in my ward 10 years ago. WOW, that was crazy. Found him and his wife on facebook already. Guess they are in the Dayton Stake and have been here a year already. I love it when I run into people I know. THEN...all the fun that we were going to have was about over. that talent show struggled a little bit. There was a sing along next, we got up and just went to his desk. Thats when I met another coworker. She was kind of funny. From Bulgaria, can't remember her name. We killed some more time then we had to help clean all the tables up. As we were walking another hallway I saw Bro. Weaver from the Xenia ward. haha, I had to kinda laugh and nudge Ryan every time I saw someone I knew. Then as we were breaking tables down Bishop Gullion from the Fairborn ward walked by. We chatted for a minute. He then told his daughter later in the day to ask me how I was doing....was I holding up with all of my cell phone withdraws haha oh BISHOP G...you know me all too well. I actually did pretty well up until I was trying to figure out what time it was and didn't have a phone or a watch. That made me super antsy. It wasn't the end of the world. I had a good time. Then clean up continued and I ran into another kid I met at a party at the Gullion home. Wow, i felt like I knew more people in that building at that point then Ryan did. Okay, that was a run down of my entire morning....the day only got strange after we got back to Ryans house. I actually ended up being late for work. oops. hate it when that happens. I should've made Ryan hurry up, but I didn't. Fail on my part. So I missed my first client at work. oops... Then the front desk gal was giving me crap about my schedule. Then the first lady was interesting, can't really give too many details on that. Then the next guy....um, even MORE interesting than the first....I've never been told to be done early for a massage and to just go take a break. I wasn't sure if he was being rude or what it was. It was just the wierdest experience I've ever had in giving a massage. UP UNTIL the next guy got a bloody nose on my table. idk....I had a good day the whole day, then it just went south. I don't know what it was about me that day. I went to get my print out and tips when it was time to leave and dont you know, my luck wasn't done being bad. The other Beth had taken one of my tips home. I was quite the grumpy pants when I got home. Sorry to my roommates for being a grouch.

Just thought I would share all that. I'm thankful that all my days aren't like work that evening. Sheesh....good thing its only gotten better from there.

I love my job. I love my friends. I love my family. Thank you all for being a part of my last 30 years.
