This may seem totally silly to everyone who stumbles across my blog. Deal with it! Last week I went shopping at the local grocery store. I found a sweet deal on cereal. I got 4 boxes for $5! When cereal usually cost $3 for one box I thought I was getting a super great deal. I picked out 4 that sounded good and went about my shopping. It wasn't until a couple days later when I opened the Honey Smacks that I realized it had something special inside! A free Barbie watch! Rock on! I have no idea how long it has been since I have opened a box of cereal and gotten a free prize. I'm pretty sure back in the day when I remember getting these sort of things they were never this good! Were they?! And it wasn't even the kind of watch that you had to poke a pen into a tiny little hole in order for it to be able to set it to the correct time. I love it! It actually fits my wrist too. Its a good thing some little 5 yr old didn't get this toy because it would NOT have fit her little hand/wrist. Anyway, I know its simple, but I was more than excited. I even wore it to the party I went to that night. I'm pretty sure everyone that sees me wearing it probably gets a little jealous :)

Thought and Thanks for the day...
Remember every cloud has a silver lining....
My neighbors are so cute. They know I've been having a rough week. So when I got home there was a little something on the table to me....from them. A card that was all pretty made out of contruction paper. Then there was butter and honey and homemade bread. Now tell me that wasn't the best thing that could happen at the end of the day?????

Now I'm just blogging and putting off the paper that I've been very good at putting off for a good two weeks. Now I only have 2 more hours to finish it before it becomes late. ahhh gotta crack down and get back to work.
I'm so thankful for thoughtful people. I love those girls.

COMPLETE!
I love this time of year. The time when all my taxes are done! I tell myself every year that next year won't be as bad. I will try to only have W2's for only one state. It never seems to work though as hard as I try. Last year there were 3 states, but this is a plus=only 3 W2's. (OH, ID, & AZ). Just alot of paperwork that I'm thankful to be done with and out of the way again for another year. This year I don't have any crazy plans like going to peru again though. Just going to put it in savings. Well to be honest....I know I'm getting old, but I think I should go on a mission and there isn't really an age limit for girls to go on a mission like there is with guys. Maybe this will be the start of my mission fund. Its kind of funny how many people I meet here in Idaho who think I'm maybe 22. Makes me feel good sometimes when people dont really know I'm 27 :)

Tender
I wish I had picture for this blog.
Work today...one word would best describe it. "blah" Same ol same ol sort of work. I jut hav not been in the best of moods lately. I want to be happy but somehow keep acquiring new pet peeves of everyone around me. So I am just trying to stay away from everyone. Just honestly have been in a less than friendly mood.
So as I was leaving my not so exciting blah place of employment on campus I decided to take the route through the building that, well its sort of like a gauntlet of clubs and such where you get slapped with hello and flyers. I don't normally go this way but I thought I might go through the book store today since I don't have class for a long while. I'm so glad I took this route. I needed it today. BYU has this table set up to help answer peoples questions about transfering if they want. Because believe it or not people have a hard time understanding....this is BYU IDAHO...not BYU, and there are lots that transfer to BYU. Well, I heard the guy that was talking to a student about some application process or something. It was strange that I recognized the voice before I saw his face. AHH!!! It was Jacob. I haven't seen this kid since 2001. I lived in provo for a semester a lonnnggg time ago. Jacob was roommates with a guy from my home ward that we always did stuff with. I loved the boys that lived in that apartment. I spent at least a good half hour catching up with Jacob. I was so impressed with the fact that he actually remembered my name. I caught him up a little bit on myself and my sister and then he filled me in about himself and his brother. ( I know his brother too....ran into him in kirtland a few years ago too) It was so good to see an old friend. I just can't believe this boy has been on a mission and graduated college since I had last seen him. wow. Guess I'm going to go home later tonight and add him on facebook. (facebook is another addiction of mine) :)
well just wanted to share...and i so shouldve taken a picture of him in his lil BYU sweater being all official. Cute kid ;)

Tagged !
I have to admit...at one point in time I almost pretended I was tagged just to have something to write, but Kristy has tagged me. I'm glad cause this means I don't have to dig for something so important to write about. So here goes nothing.
10 yrs ago I was...a junior in High School...probably getting ready to do some show with my show choir. I'm pretty sure I was still not liking high school and the fact that I lived in Ohio and not Arizona anymore. And I think I was still in the process of painting the border in my room with rainbow colored hand prints of my friends and random missionaries that had come over to our house. I think that young womens project of painting my room went on extremely long. However I did finish it & it is still there today. Wow! my parents really need to do something about that room. Or maybe Justin should since it is his room now.
5 things in my to-do list today:
1. Go to work
2. Meet with my English group member Jenna to discuss poetry
3.Figure out what to wear to the dance tonight on campus
4.Shower
5.Mail letters and Birthday stuff to friends and family
5 Snacks I enjoy:
1. chips and salsa
2. chocolate in almost any form
3. ice cream
4. cheesecake
5. wheat thins
What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:
1. Pay of my student loans
2. Buy a house
3. Go to Europe and Australia
4. Pay off my parents debt
5. Make savings accounts for future family
5 Places I Have Lived:
1. Marblehead Ohio
2. Waltonville Illinois
3. Wise Virginia
4. Show Low Arizona
5. Xenia Ohio
6. Chandler Arizona
7. Mt Gilead Ohio
8. Rexburg Idaho
9. Provo Utah
10. Mesa Arizona
11. Kettering Ohio
12. Salt Lake City Utah
5 Jobs I Have Had:
1. Census
2. National City Mortgage -Processor/Closer
3. Victoria's Secret Direct - Inbound Sales
4. Americorps Literacy Dayton Servicemember (its really service but i worked full time)
5. Jacob Lake Inn -worked in the office
5 Things You Don't Know About Me:
Its hard to say who read this and who knows what
1. I'll go with possibly the obvious....I'm a nationally certified massage therapist but going to BYU Idaho to get an associates degree on top of that.
2. I have had well over 50 roommates and 35 jobs since I graduated high school in 1999
3. I have somehow managed to have never broken any bones in my body (unless you count the jamming of fingers from playing basketball) even though I have fallen out of a moving vehicle when I was younger
4. I managed to have 12 credits of classes this semester that I didn't have to buy a single textbook for. AWESOME!
5. One of my favorite experiences ever was participating in the Hill Cumorah Pageant (http://www.hillcumorah.org/Pageant/) in Palmyra New York in the summer of 2001
I think plenty of people that I've been reading blogs for have been tagged so I am not going to tag anyone :)
Hope you enjoyed
