This is where ill b starting out my new year. At my parent cute lil house. I am currently blogging while snuggled up on a hand me down day bed/trundle bed from my 4 yr old nephew...in the corner in the office in this...my parents....cute lil house. Cant go anywhere but up from here. I have yet to find a home for my things but eh they are just things anyway. I took a tour of a day spa today. I was impressed. I may bring my resume in. I havent gotten anything set in stone yet as to where ill b doing massage. So ill prob talk more on that later. So many options 4 this coming year. Just have to decide what i did right last year...take note and learn. And decide what i did wrong. Take note....and not do it again! Those are hard lists for me to pull out. What kind of realistic change can i make of myself. The more drastic the more impressive right? Wonder what kind of stunt id like to pull of
next? Hmmm this will b fun. Workbook collage fun begins

Christmas time...

Last night I had a few friends come with me to look at the lights on temple square. It was fun. I just love the masses of lights everywhere. It makes me happy. We had class beforehand and then got some hot drinks then walked over. We took a few pictures but this is the only one i'm posting. I'm not sure my friends were so much impressed by being on temple square, but i'm glad they still came with me to enjoy the lights and freeze our bootays off!

Class was pretty crazy last night. We were there from about 1 until 7. talk about a long class. We did some pretty intense neck/throat/mouth/nasal work. Talk about having some heightened sense of taste and smell when we were done. I could breath so much better afterwards.

Im working backwards, but before that I got to see my old roommate Cathie. It was alot of fun to visit with her and meet her mom. We both got to share stories of the last year. We really haven't seen each other or talked in a long while. I need to plan a trip to boston. Maybe 4th of July I will go there this coming year.

Then the night before that I went to go see Children of Eden. It was at BYU. I went with Kyle and his two friend amber and spring, and then we also brought along my old roommate Kelly. It was so much fun to see kelly and just pick up where we left off. I love having friends where no matter where you come and go from in life they always fit in and feel natural. And its always interesting meeting kyle friends. I hear about people mostly, but have slowly met some of the tooele-ites.

ON to today.... I should get out of bed now and start packing. I'm spending the weekend in anaheim at a business convention. I leave in a few hours with Melyn and Kyle. Its quite the long drive and I need to get my junk together so I can study some on my drive. Maybe some flash cards should be in order. I need to study some things for myokinetics/kinesiology/cranial and well pretty much almost every class. My finals are the next two weeks. I shouldnt be going to california, but I'm determined to get things done for class and still have a fun week. My birthday is on the 9th and so I have pretty much already started the festivities in my mind :) I have to enjoy my last birthday before i'm 30. Who knows where I will be next year and/or what i'll be doing. SO for now...i'm enjoying and trying to take in as much as i can.

Cars are expensive

This fancy shmancy new black bumper on my purple car is what broke the bank today. 6 weeks later and its finally all put together. Now to just get employment to be able to pay myself back for all the money I spend on this car. Man I wish I could walk everywhere I had to be. Thankful for the guy in the ward that fixed it though. He went out of his way to get it done when I finally got my car to him.

ROCKS!

These are my new friends. I got them for about $1.66. Had to pay a dollar for the bag to put them in though. I'm excited. That wasn't such a bad deal. I have other things to acquire for my set to be complete, but I'm almost there. Just wanted to share. I'm excited to be able to start doing Hyrdostone treatments for my clients :)

Stake Dancing....

This was from the stake activity. yes the one where i saw green jello and about died laughing. Seriously...only in utah. I have utah friends who have never been a witness to the green jello phenomenon, but i partook...and enjoyed. AND the square dancing...kind of funny to say the least. what a night.

Kyle Eliza (the neice) and ME

Working backwards in my phone to post other pictures that i love. I think this must've been a Sunday night at kyles house. His brother and neice came over and we played Spongebob bingo. She was too cute. It took her awhile to warm up to me. No real good story here... I enjoy hanging out at kyles house on Sundays. Funfilled with music and singing. Kyles mom also let me play the player piano feature on their piano once. I LOVED IT. i played songs from wicked.

Last friday when i was strolling along in park city i ran into austen. We used to work together at jacob lake in the office. Talk abt a blast from the past. It was fun to see him. Such a small world. I love it. We chattd a bit then i continued to look at some shops. I almost bought a pendulum. Im poor though and that wouldve been spending money i dont have. Sigh. I want one. It was a pretty enjoyable evening. Im glad i got to tag along on the trip to park city with my friend.

Other things ive wanted to blog abt. This is one of my favorite things abt class. I love these skeletons. Some teachers use them....others abuse them. Its nice that we have access to so many of them at our school.

I just wanted to add how much i enjoyed my first experience with hot stones on wednesday. AMAZING. i have yet again another experience with emotional releases. im excited to go buy a turkey roaster and go to a landscaping place to hand pick my 52 stones. cant wait to share it with someone else. good full body detox

I haven't bloggd for awhile. Its not very often im on the computer these days. Or well lets just say it would b more if i wouldn't have broken my charger to my laptop. Its probably ok though. I'm surviving. Im ok with mobile blogging from my bed at 2 in the afternoon.School is amazing &kicking my butt all at the same time. I finally got my resume updated & im looking forward to Monday when ill actually get to put it to use. Prayers & or good thoughts sent my way that day would b much appreciated.Id really like this job. Hopefully it will work out the way id like it to. I think id b good for it & vice versa. In other random news.I got a call from the bishops wife last Sunday to be in ward choir. I'm going to do that. It should b good. Christmas songs are already playing in my head. Maybe its finally time to get out of bed today & take life on. Under my blanket is just so nice & cozy though. Today i need to remember. That all these things shall give thee experience & shall be for thy good.

Living in Utah

I have completed my first week in Utah. I'm pleased to say it was a success. At least by my standards. I started my classes at UCMT (Master Bodyworker Program). 10 weeks of classes and then I'll be even more equipped to be out in the field working. Just a few more tools in my massage tool belt. I'm looking forward to all of my classes. Many changes await in my life. No doubt about that one. I still have yet to get a hang of the bus system and how its going to work for me. Pretty much have gotten rides home. I went to a ward social with a friend on friday night. Entertaining for sure. I love getting to be around wards that are new to me. The dynamics are just great. From the old men and interesting sense of humor, teenage girls, wild children to the single moms. I love people watching. You can mostly just blend in. Do what everyone else is doing, and then oh, wait, don't forget to help put up chairs at the end of the night. I love mormons haha. Most of the time you can find someone to help with anything you need help with. From a ride home to doing a quilt to getting a blessing, a friendly smile, or even like i said, putting up chairs at the end of an activity. And what would an activity be without someone praying for the massive amounts of sugar to nurish and strengthen us. :) Also this week I took a lil cruise around town with my cousin to find the bank (which i never found), the post office, the two closest walmarts, and just orient myself in general. While we were waiting at a stop light I was flagged down and excitedly yelled at by a fellow driver. Best part of the night by far.... He excitedly yelled out his window when I opened my door (dont forget my driver side door is still being held up by a suction cup) to hear what he said.... " -O-H- "...... hahaha it took me a minute to realize what had just happened....i yelled back "-I-O-" man i'm glad i'm still driving around with my ohio plates. Good times. I still need to go clean my car. Its so dirty from the drive. I'm surprised he could even see where I was from. Well I'm off to go do a lil service project today.

so thats a small report of my first week in utah. Its good. I'm having fun. I'm thankful for my room in the basement with my time and space to study.

I've been wanting to post something good here on my blog. I guess I real story or event. Not just a little picture that goes with something. Everything is just jumbled up though. Its easier to just write about a moment or something shortly after it happens. I am sitting in my home alone tonight. My roommates are gone. Holly is off with other friends. She is going to go rock climbing tomorrow at Red River Gorge, and I optd out of that trip. I am going to go see my nephews soccer game tomorrow and then get some things done around the house. We are in the middle of packing to move out. I'm sure the roommates are too much loving me for my decision to go back to school for awhile cause this means they have to move out. SIGH... sorry girls. Its just what I had to do for myself at this point in my life. I am going to go do the Master Bodyworker program at my school (UCMT in SLC) I'm looking forward to it. Classes start oct 13th and go for ten weeks. Thats the shortest update of all the crazy stuff that is on my mind, but I gotta stop now. Hopefully I can get some sleep and get up in time for this game.

Andrew kitara and i hung out tonight at mcdonalds listening to old school classic music. Lots of fun conversation like....where me and kit will meet our husbands and then after getting back to my house we put in the movie incredibles. Andrew asked us if we could have any super power what would it b? The noteworthy powers were flying...being invisible and reading minds. Andrew then said he would want to b vulnerable. um really? Did we hear that right? NOPE we didnt. he wanted to b invulnerable. but he went with it. haha how amazing. andrew decided how cool would that b to b 'EMOTIONAL MAN' hahahaha now thats powerful! i love polygadating with andrew and kitara. ok its more like girls night with these two. its a shame casey had to miss out on the events of the evening.

Went to my homeland....

A couple weekends ago I found out some of my cousins from Virginia who I hadn't seen in ages were going to be in ohio up at my Grammy's house. I decided late friday night to take the trek.

On Sunday morning I went for a walk around town. I found out that the old house on Main street in Marblehead that I used to live in is for sale. Not that I would ever consider buying it, but I COULD if I wanted to. It kind of looks a lil run down. It was built in 1929...I found that interesting. I also think its fun to walk by the church my aunt goes to and remember things about the church like getting chocolate easter bunnies from Father Ott (if that's even how you spell it) and going to a midnight mass christmas eve one year. Good times.

It was fun getting to see everyone from Virginia. I was only there from about 5 am Sat morning until after church on sunday. But it was still fun. I havent been to the Marblehead light house in ages. I didn't get much sleep friday night because I went to a dance in Cincinnati before driving the 4 hours north at 130 in the morning. So I was sleeping when everyone decided to go to the lighthouse. Oh well. I did it by myself. Bad idea to take a picture of myself after just waking up, but again, I did it.

The weather was perfect. I am glad we got to drive around the penisula and talk with my grammy about who lived where and who was married here and who was born here, and who built this house. I wish I could remember it all, but even still. It was fun to talk.

My grammy has lived down this street as long as I can remember. I'm pretty sure my whole life she has lived here. There used to be a big tree growing in the middle of the road. My dad used to drive us like we were going to hit it and then hurry up and miss it. We always got a kick out of that. They took the tree out many years ago. That was a sad day, but we knew it had to happen eventually. The pile of asphalt that covers that hole can kind of still be noticed. I'm sure they havent redone the road much. Not like a lot of people travel it. This is also the road that brings back memories of me falling out of my moms station wagon. I'm sure I was not much older than 5 if even that old. My mom used to bring us to her moms house to get babysat everyday while she went to work. It was a winter day i'm pretty sure. I remember being in a snow suit. I was sitting in the front seat. I'm sure I was just taking after my mom and taking off my seat belt long before we actually pulled into the drive and when we turned the corner to the driveway....welll....i mustve opened the door, i dont know how else this wouldve happend, but i definately fell out of the car and rolled in the ditch. Haha I still laugh at it even though I dont remember it all too well. I probably remember telling the story more often than the actual event. Good times.

While we were in Marblehead we decided to go see grammys sister Aunt Ethel. Aunt Ethel is 10 yrs older than my grandma! wowzers. These ladies are 84 and 94! Can you NOW tell why I enjoy listening to their stories so much!? My favorite was my gram telling us about how if she had a chance to do it all over again she wouldn't have gotten married. She wouldve just saved herself the grief. HAHAHAHA it was hilarious. She always rubs her head when she is trying to remember things. My mom does it , and I'm sure i'll do it someday too. Aunt Ethel was telling us about the day she got married her house got caught on fire. They were trying to fix up her dress so you couldnt see all the places it had smoke damage. CRAZY! I'm sure that just wouldnt fly with some girls today. They would probably just get a new dress. BUT not Aunt Ethel. She got married anyway...ruined dress and burnt hand and all. They talked about all the memories of things that happend in her home. How they used to live in the garage while it was being built. How one of their grandmothers lived there in her last days. I was being stealthy and taking pictures and videos while they were talking. I love going to Aunt Ethels! I think she even remembers me a little bit :)

Grammy (Julia Stark) on the left and Ethel Gresh on the right.
They also talked a little bit about how their dad changed his name. They are Sedlaks. They dont seem to remember, but Sezdlak or something like that was how his name used to be spelled. Its fun to hear stories, but accuracy, not sure we can count on anything so much. Thanks mom and Kim for going on our little outing through marblehead and down memory lane.

Hill Cumorah Pageant

I guess I have to give highlights because there is no way I can write about everything from pageant again. (not to mention, some things are better left in my journal) I spent hours writing in my journal the two weeks I was in New York. This is the Hill Cumorah. Looking down the first day I went to the top. 7 stages constructed by 26 young men for which the cast of 739 (42 % were until the age of 18) would perform the show "America's Witness for Christ" during the 7 nights in July.

I don't even know what to say other than I feel overwhelmed. It was such a good experience. I was a part of the cast in 2001. It was a good experience then, but even more so this go around. I got to meet so many people from all over the...well i would say world, but really only the USA and CANADA. Made lots of friends. Its amazing how the Gospel brings people together and makes it feel like we are in such a small world. This is me and Melissa. She was the one who so lovingly braided my hair every night before I put on my wig.

I walked every morning around the campus of Hobart (the college dorms we slept in) and this snail was on my walk one morning. I guess I just appreciated him because well....these couple weeks, and well this summer in general I've not been as lucky as this snail to enjoy my surroundings at a slow pace. Its been go go go. Just thankful that somehow I have the energy to do so much. Isn't he cute? Okay, and maybe I video taped this lil guy moving too. Haha. I enjoyed my walks and I think that's how I kept a lil bit of balance to all the massive amounts of people I got to meet.....it was nice having a lil quiet time in the mornings to think and walk.

Most of my cast team right here. Awesome people. Wish I could tell you a lil bit about each of them. There isn't enough room, but they all had an interesting story to tell. Teachers, mothers, friends, explorers, talented & amazing.

Wish I would've memorized this. We said it at every devotional so we didn't forget what it was exactly that we were doing. It was after all a missionary experience. Who knew being a missionary would be so fun. Rewarding & fulfilling I expected, but fun...now that was a bonus.

life really is that good.

I have started this with a different line like ten times now. Its my blog, why do I care how this comes out. Its just for my practice of writing and my thoughts and its my outlet to write whatever whenever. Its not like I write anything inappropriate or out of line. It doesn't matter if it doesn't go along with what anyone else thinks. I looked back on my blog from the last year. I was kind of surprised when I saw my sister had put it into a scrapbook. I guess it was kind of nice to know where I was every few months. I may have not given every detail of my life....but I highlighted some good things. I find my blog to be a little bit of an outlet for good things. Just to remind myself that crap happens and yet life is still good. I don't care if everyone thinks no ones life can really be that good. We have newspapers to read about depressing stuff all day. I like hearing how people enjoy their lives and how they love their families. The good things in my life as of right now are....I have just found out I get a raise...effective when I get back from pageant. I am going to be in the hill cumorah pageant. Maybe I suck at preparing myself for the pageant, but at least I get to go. I'm working on it. I don't wanna write a whole blog about the things I SHOULDVE DONE...but I'm just happy I get to participate in that. I got to go to a Cincinnati reds game the other night. I had fun, It was hot as HELL out there...but guess what, I had good company and there was a super sweet display of fireworks at the end. You know what, I didn't want the night to end, but it did. AND then. Saturday I went to a singles branch activity. So what if i was a little annoyed that it was poorly planned and the gal in charge did it all on her own and so she was late...maybe i think she should've asked for help, but she didn't. We still were there and i participated a little bit. I was a little bit tortured through all of the popsicle eating everyone had going on, but....even still... I was happy to be around such good people. Who cares if they can all have lots of sugar right now and I cant. No reason for me to be in a bad mood. I had a great night and got to have great conversations. So what if i missed out on a little bit of sleep. So what if I'm trying to make better decisions and choices with my sleeping habits. and then there was Sunday. I had a great fathers day. haha I'm not a father, and i wasn't with my Father even. Maybe I'm not the best child. I sent a text saying happy fathers day and I love you. I got a response "ty". Not probably typical, but the family was on their way home from Florida. They spent a week at Disney world. I spent that day at church with friends, and then swam some laps with Reilly for our Sunday night workout. Then we hung out at her brothers house all night with a few more friends. It was pretty awesome to spend some quality time together. So what if all we did was talk, clean out her purse, eat some cinnamon rolls, feed the fish on the Wii and then did maybe we laughed lots when i was trying to touch her psoas. Nobody but me really needs to remember any of these details probably. I'm sure in 6 months or a year from now I'll look back and just kind of smile. Because today , this week, right now I am learning to appreciate life. I guess its just like that, when things are happy, you gotta kinda take a minute to look around and there has to be someone who might need some cheering up. I just found out that today my sister in laws brother died. I dont know details, but if anyone reads this and wants to say a prayer, I'm sure they could use any comfort that could be passed along their way. AND I should probably stop putting off sleep and get some rest... I really should be walking in the morning. Eh, we'll see how that goes. ohhh and I haven't even gotten to post anything about my trip to arizona. I had a good time, a wierd time, but a good time there. I think that needs to be its own topic once i get my pictures off my phone or from my friends camera. Glad I went, but i'm not sure why I ever wanted to go back to arizona to live soooo BADLY... not feeling it. I was not thinking I was going to have THAT kind of experience about it all.

I made it....

I'm in Arizona. I wish I could put up a picture to illustrate any of my stories, but no can do. Not just yet. I got to the airport in Columbus last night...I didn't want to check any of my bags, but then i realized. Flight was super super full annnddd well I had packed a massive amount of food. (yes super stressed, but I packed almost all of my food for the weekend away) My bag was heavy...it was only $15. So I checked it. I HOWEVER...didn't think about the fact that jello snack packs would be considered a liquid. duh. I went through the scanning machine and they asked to do a bag check. She pulled out my jello and was like, um, you cant take this, its considered a liquid. AND then she kept digging. I had my hand weights and my bands in the bag. She had to get approval to keep my weights in the bag. They are probably 2.5 lbs each. REALLY? you aren't allowed to carry small weights. eh, whatever. They all held them and then decided I wouldn't be a threat with the weights, but she closed up my bag and escorted me out to try this over. She told me i could throw it away, eat it, or go try to put it in my other bag that i checked in. It made me laugh....I couldn't touch my bag again until we got past the security. wow....who knew jello was a threat. I'm sad. Now I have to go get more sugar free jello snack packs. That was the excitement of my night. I got on the plane. slept for 4 hrs. Got into phoenix. I'm at my friend marks house hanging out with his wife. I'll go get a rental car here in a lil bit to head over to the mesa temple and then out to show low. I guess I'll check into the hotel when I get to show low and then cruise around town.....call up a friend or something. Time to go remember old times...

Asparagus (a post by Katie Bills)

Today, Beth went to the thrift store. This was the shirt she came home with. Why, you ask? Well, earlier this week, she had her first run-in with asparagus, the most yummy grass you can eat (and no, I've never had the other kind of grass, so there is no comparison here...) Anyway, I started to divulge my usual litany of random information. I, personally, love asparagus (but have a really hard time spelling it...it's a good thing Beth is right here and I can glance at her shirt as I type) and was surprised that Beth had never had the aspergrass (that's how we say in my fam) experience. It's up there as one of the deciding factors when I am choosing things from the menu at a restaurant, right next to avocado (my personal kryptonite) and salmon (I can never cook it on my own so it actually tastes good, so I would rather have someone else do that for me). But I digress from my random piece of information that I shared with Beth. Did you know (a phrase I was famous for as a child) that asparagus makes your pee stink? Well, not necessarily your pee, but my pee definitely. Here's a tidbit from the annals of science (or at least MSNBC):

"WHY DOES YOUR PEE SMELL WHEN YOU EAT ASPARAGUS?"
Asparagus contains a sulfur compound called mercaptan. It is also found in onions, garlic, rotten eggs, and in the secretions of skunks. The signature smell occurs when this substance is broken down in your digestive system. Not all people have the gene for the enzyme that breaks down mercaptan, so some of you can eat all the asparagus you want without stinking up the place. One study published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology found that only 46 percent of British people tested produced the odor while 100 percent of French people tested did. Insert your favorite French joke here________________________________.

I wanted to find out more, and there is a contradicting theory here.

Moral of the story: I am one of the 46%. Beth is not. At least she thinks she isn't, but then again, she also is drinking gallons of water a day with this new diet, so she provides a very diluted sample. SO, you can kiss her as...paragus.

I'm alive

I haven't updated in what seems like a long time. I think its just because I have been really busy. I feel like I shouldn't be as busy as I am , but then I start talking about what i've been doing and it kind of makes sense.
Me recently= started working full time at a medical billing place. AND. I have been babysitting for my friends 3 kids on tues. and thurs. nights for a couple of hours while her husband is at school. The girls are so much fun to be around. Really happy great kids. LOVE THEM. So that has been a blessing to be able to help them out with that. THEN... I guess what has been taking the most time is that recently I have started to change my eating habits. I've started a personalized plan to try and be a healthier person and its been treating me well. I hate saying I'm on a diet, but I am. Whatever, and I guess its good people know. I get less crap about not eating out if i just say, oh I'm on a meal plan. I eat six times a day and I'm trying to do better at working out. I only eat small meals. Don't worry. I basically have to weigh my food out in grams every morning or evening. Its easier at one time of day rather than each time I eat. So I have to pack a few meals at work. AND make sure I pack my water bottles and make sure I get my sea salt. AND make sure I have my funnel to pour my shake powder (whole foods for 6 meals can be overwhelming so a couple are a protein shake)...well there are lots more details...but I wont bore you.(whoever YOU are that read my blog) I will just say I have been doing it almost 2 weeks now and the scale says I'm down 5.5 and body fat % is down 2 ....so I can't really complain. The only cheat meal I had the whole two weeks made me ill. So hey, i guess thats a good thing. My body really does like good for me food. Its amazing what God has given us in the way of a physical body. Its an awesome creation. Trying to figure out how to work it can be a challenge. I've decided to take the challenge and do my best to be in better working order so that I can do more than I am now. I'm a happy person , but all the learning I've done over the years I have really come to know that my spirit and my body are connected. They function better when they are both in tune. This is my attempt at starting to reprogram myself and do a better job with this Temple that I've been given. I want to be happier and healthier and so far I'm on a good start. Things that are hard take time though. Its a gradual change...but its been a long time in the making and its finally time I started. Can't wait to continue to make hard but needed changes in my life physically and spiritually. Hopefully this will give me a better grasp on my time management as well.
that's all for now.
I'm out!

ps...i'm working with stephaney at www.nattynutrition.com dont worry...i'm not trying to be a competing body builder, I dont think I'll ever look like these guys...LOVE THEM though...they are great!

Good friends from Jr High....

This set of pictures isn't complete by any means, but I finally pulled out some old pictures to scan and wanted to share them. These are a few friends I have many great childhood memories of/with. I will pull out a few more later. So many favorite lindsay memories...Our first encounter as friends was a drive in movie theater in her family suburban and her falling asleep super early. The many nights my mom called hers to see if I could stay the night there. The trip to Lake Powell before my family moved away. The sleepovers, playing with barbie dolls even though we were probably too old. Jumping on the tramp. Making up dances, baking no bake cookies, playing night games around the block. Passing notes in school. It was a huge blessing in my life to have her be one of my first friends in Arizona. Its amazing to read her blog and see where life has taken her and to see her beautiful children. Can't wait to meet them all someday. I want to say the last time we spoke was a few years ago when I lived in SLC and needed advice on life. Thanks for putting up with my craziness and giving some much needed advice. Love remembering times at your house and lessons learned.
Lindsay and Me

I think I must've met kelli while playing softball. So much fun to sit on the bus and talk with her. Playing sports and of course passing letters. I could always count on kelli to have a pretty decent long note after her super long bus ride to school. My first room roommate after graduating high school. She helped me get my job at Denny's and have a blast living on my own for the first time. Crazy times with parties and life. Too bad I didnt stick around for too long. Loved all that I've learned from this chica. love ya kelli!

Mark and Me

oh markis markis markis.... Good memories with him too. Playing monopoly on the computer. Having his mom and sisters take me out after he went to scouts. Being the only TWO in our sunday school class. taking walks around the block just to chat. phone calls after i moved and letters to keep in touch even if it was maybe one a year... oh and the phone call in december to say happy birthday to each other always puts a smile on my face. Being able to hang with his fam and feel a part of the buch all of the time was always awesome. Thanks mark for being a good friend.

OKLAHOMA

Went to go see my brothers in the high school musical.
OKLAHOMA
I thought they did a good job on painting the back wall and the sets were pretty cool. My phone only took this semi decent picture. I tell ya, its just not convenient to have any other kind of camera. I'm getting a new phone on tuesday though with a better camera.
Justin was so funny to watch on stage. Such a HAM... Loved watching him dance and just make himself at home on stage. Pretty proud of him that he had a part with some lines too.
And this is Jeromy. The one who wishes I was younger or he was older cause then, who knows...maybe then he could really be in the family. He is a super good friend of Jordan and Justin.
Jordan! LOVE YA! It was so much fun to get to hear Jordan sing a solo on stage. And all the dancing and things. I just can't handle any of these boys with soo much make up on though. I hate stage make up.
Awww Alex is so cute. She was the student director this year. AND my favorite thing is that this dress she wore was the one I WORE when I was in Oklahoma in 1997. (my sophomore year) My mom made it. When we were cleaning stuff out my mom found the box with my costumes in it. I showed alex and ta da! she ended up using it. SHE was so good in the play too. Gertie-perfect! Loved her laugh. She did so good!

Scrapbooking...

Today was a pretty long day. I woke up late, but not a big deal. The scrapbooking day was supposed to go from 9-9. But I got there at 10. All in all it was a good day. I started helping my mom with all the planning on friday. I made this cake. I also put some other stuff together.

There was a good turn out. I think the count was around 16 people. I am not sure I even finally decided what pictures I was going to scrapbook until 1 or 2 in the afternoon. THEN...I got down to business. I started putting together my peru trip finally. Basically I just wanted to say I'm happy with what I completed. 22 pages filled with pictures. Its fun to look at my peru pictures again. I did one page of getting my first speeding ticket (yes I took a picture that night in 1997). I still have a little more of my peru trip to put in this book, but I'm sure the next time I sit down to scrapbook it will get done. Super happy. Loooonnnng day.

AND....two more things

Parents are moving tomorrow....

AND...this old friend of mine said the nicest thing to me tonight...

He said:

I am always thinking.... and when I picture my happily ever after the woman I am with no matter if she is a brunette or a blond, big or small, that womans heart, mind and dedication is always like yours. You are truly an inspiration to me. Thank you for suffering my friendship.
