April Showers Bring May Flowers???

I went out with my roommate today and this is how we were welcomed by mother nature.....in April? Really?

apparently spring has sprung here in rexburg.... I can't handle this weather...

When sledding goes bad...

My lil cuz....the poor guy....seems to be adjusting well. Hopefully its all uphill from here. He got in an accident sledding this winter. A broken finger turned into a big mess and with infection after infection the only way to get him better was to amputate. YIKES....the story is long but i wanted to post this anyway

My new look....

Ok so i know this isnt cool to just post a picture of the back of my head, but eh, I wasnt looking up to my likings today....but I would like to show you how long my hair was getting with all its 2 or 3 tones of color...its all natural though. Just sun bleached. (probably got some of that in mexico) who knows....anyway....me and Sam decided to go get our hair cut today!

The after...ahhhh I'm so happy that it looks so much more healthy...and I didn't get a ton cut off. Just enough.
So thats my new look even if its only from the back...I'll get around to fixing it tomorrow and then maybe post some other pictures later....

Friends and Junk Yards

Two of my most favorite people in Rexburg are Dee and Ron Lindsay. They are what I guess you could call pseudo grandparents...or perhaps, just friends. One of my friends dated this guy, the whole time he was on his mission she would write him and go visit his dad and step mom (Dee and Ron). So I went with her a few times. So when he got home from his mission. They eventually got married. Happy day. But, that's how I met them. As it turns out I get to see Dee and Ron more often than my friend and her family. I have been over to have plenty of meals with them and have helped them do random things. One day I spent helping Ron do some stuff around his house and around the town. One of the errands we had to run that day was to the junk yard. It was interesting to say the least. So I have had the picture on my phone that I think is just funny. It's the office to the junk yard. It was a good day. They are good people and I'm glad to help them any chance I get.

Stalker-net???

Just more things that made me smile. We always joke about having access to stalker-net on campus. Its just the student directory. Its gotten better over the years. You can actually block your schedule and phone number and picture and everything now, but I still call its stalker-net. I always thought it was a big joke about being a stalker until I saw this poster. Brings me back to the days when my friends made a song up about me stalking that went to the tune of "Sugar Sugar". I am not a stalker, just like call people without them having given me their number.

Port Columbus

Just another little something that made me smile. I was walking through the columbus airport and spotted this sign. I wasn't sure you would even be able to read it once I got it put on my computer. Surprise surprise. I just found it pretty funny because yep, its mostly just cornfields.

Random Pictures of ME

I was in the car when my parents went into the store around christmas time and I was just getting really bored. This is what I do when I'm bored. Take pictures of myself! They said they were only going to take a few minutes in the store....then it was back home to get some food. So this is me with Jennifers clip in my hair. Kind of a pointless post, and I look a lil irritated, but I'm just posting things from my phone. Also if you will notice on my shoulder. My sister made me a bag from my brothers old Army pants. Its sort of a manly bag, but I hate purses and like bags.

Conference weekend

I had such a good time going to SLC with my downstairs neighbor Sarah. We went with her brother and sister in law. I didn't have a ticket but I wanted to go and thought, what the heck?! they have space, I might as well take the trek. I walked around temple square for a half hour took a few pictures.... I took some random pictures then when I was standing right about right here. Some random group of people walked up to tme and asked if I wanted their extra ticket. Sure enough I DID! I got in. It was pretty sweet. I was really thankful that I got to go see conference in the conference center again. And what a beautiful day! I'm glad my phone takes pretty sweet pictures too.

Spring Break 08....

Just a few things I'm going to try to do during my spring break.

• Interview for a job in SLC
• Visit with friends from UCMT
• Go to a friends wedding
• Get massage license in Utah
• Finish my PPT of many pics from Mexico
• Take a few naps
• Blog
• Do something fun with my cousins

and then....hopefully more than this will come up. I haven't planned a whole bunch. Maybe I will get to see more people while I'm there too. Tricky part is getting around. I will have to take the bus to places or get rides. Either way, it will just be nice to have a break from school again. Mexico should've been enough, but that's not the case.

Happy Sabbath day...

I'm going to SLC for the 2nd session of General Conference. My downstairs neighbor is going and well, I wanted to see if I can get a standby ticket. If I don't, I'm sure there will be somewhere else to watch conference and it will be a nice lil roadtrip with my friend. So I hope you all have a happy sabbath day and enjoy watching conference. Todays two sessions were enlightening. I hope to hear more in the next couple session. Till next time....I'm out.

I just posted my poem. It was too difficult for me to upload all my pictures that I had included in my power point with each slide, but it really did make it better. I got a few giggles out of some of the pictures. I seem to lose a lot of my assignments after the semester is over and done, so I thought it would be best if I posted this one. At least then I'd have it online as a reference for myself.
