Dec ?? I rode a train

We took a trip from clearfield to slc on front runner. Then we got on trax and a bus that night too. We thought it would be fun to take advantage of a day group pass that was $15. I was obviously over excited about it. And yes....this many pictures should not have been taken :-) oh well. Visiting salt lake city at night during Christmas time is fun.

Dec 25- Christmas morning craziness

Actually...Christmas day for me was mostly spent sleeping. I stayed up all night long playing dominion with Zak and Ben. So we got to see the kids faces right when they woke up and came out to see the presents. Everybody else got to talk to Andrew who is on his mission and we had our Welches grape juice with a nice Christmas breakfast. This is a crazy bunch of bad pictures I'm sure, but it captures some memories. Thanks everybody who played Santa for me. I love my gifts :-)

Dec ?? Aunt Dawns house

On Friday night everyone but Sue and Ben headed out to eagle mountain to see Dawn and Greg and their family. We brought chili and candy and a fruit pizza. I'd say I failed on the pizza thing though. It was way too thick. Oh well....we had lots of cookie dough leftover. We had fun playing the game 7 wonders. The kids watched movies while we played. We say and chatted awhile too. That's when I got the picture of Emily looking into Zaks eyes. I guess they have the same strange eye color.

Dec ?? We went sledding

My cousin Zak and I went out to Wal-Mart and bought some little sleds and decided to take the kids out to this icy hill to do some sledding. We had been couped up in the house almost all week and we thought the kids would like it. (It was sat Dec 28)

Dec 19-20-21-22- oops I got behind

I decided to start my trip to Utah on Friday night. So it was last minute packing and a super crowded ride to clearfield.

I helped wrap presents all Friday night and I decorated a Christmas tree. I started up way too late. Which meant that I needed a nap on Saturday. Early in the morning I went to the ward party/breakfast feast. It was good, but I had a headache from the cute lil girl that played her cello during breakfast. So getting home for a nap was awesome. Later Saturday evening Zak and his family got into town and I took a ride into slc with uncle Michael to get Ben. We ended up dropping him off for a date though. And well Sunday had just been church and food and games with the family. I learned how to play dominion. It's a pretty fun game. Anyway....just enjoying my break. Looking forward to more festivities and good food.

Dec 18 - Back with the living.

Today I finally decided two days of laying around my house was good enough. I went back to work. Halfway through the day I changed my mind. I need another day to get things done without overdoing it. I took my cough syrup at lunch. Bad IDEA. We have a two hour lunch break but that still isnt long enough to get a decent nap in. I am still glad I went in to work today. I am at 117 of my 200 hours that need to be completely in order to finish my degree. I sure hope I can get a lot of hours in the week before school starts. It would be nice to be able to only feel like I'm working one job and going to school instead of two.

well there ya have it. That is how exciting my day was.

Looking forward to saturday....I could use the week off.

Dec 17 - Just keep swimming...

I'm trying to keep my head above water here today. I haven't let my cough medicine knock me completely out yet today. I have a couple hours before I take it again, so I figured I should try to be slightly more productive today. So I did a few things.

• I wrote Jordan
• Did my laundry
• Got more cough drops
• Had my friend drive me to the bank to deposit $
• watched a movie (okay, not productive, but it did help me rest)
• Made an oil pill to take (trying to do anything I can to get better)
• Ordered something online that I needed to
• Rearranged my classes for next semester

Now I just have a few things to do before I leave for Utah on Saturday.

• Hopefully get in some hours at my internship
• Finish my class online
• Buy Zak Harpers homemade bread for a christmas present
• Wrap the kids presents
• Pack my things (dont forget extra blankets)
• Figure out life
• Make more buckeyes
• Deliver Emily's hand mixer to her 

okay so thats just a little list or two for today. I need to go force myself to find some food for dinner so I don't starve....and well, that way I can say that I ate more than a cough drop for dinner. (those things leave a serious bad after taste)

Merry Christmas Everyone.... I'm looking forward to going to see the Christmas lights on Temple Square next week :)

Dec - 16 speechless

Today I don't have much of a voice. It is hard to really talk when you spend most of the day coughing. This subject is getting old. But I went to the doctor today and they said its probably bronchitis. Most likely viral, but just in case, they gave me a Zpak. Sooo antibiotics and cough syrup with codeine is on the menu for the next couple of days.

This is not really what I need or expected right now.

BUT....as is always the case, it will all work out. I'm trying to get rest and get better. I have no idea how this internship of mine is ever going to get finished.

I guess I should try to do something productive while I'm down and out....or at least before its time for a dose of cough syrup.

Dec 15- Aunt Chiladas

I'm flying back home to Idaho tonight. I have had a good sorry little weekend trip to mesa. I'm glad I got to spend some time with Alison and these other folks.

These are a couple pictures we took Friday night when we went it to dinner. Cameron & Bethany, Kelli & Brad & Carter, Mary, me. It was fun to catch up a little with old friends from Jr high. It was long ago, but I love these people. I have only the best memories. Trips like this are always a treat for me. I wish I could come back in January for Alison's wedding, but that's not going to happen. At least I got to meet the husband to be.

Dec 14 - Temple lights

I had a fever and slept most of the day. But after I got some dinner we took a drive to the temple in mesa. It's been a quiet weekend.
